UK Rapper Mish Da Fyah Sis aka Fyahsis has recently released her brand new long awaited EP Ask.Believe.Receive. The EP features production from the likes of Patch Harmonix on ‘Thru The Rain’ which features Mish Da Fyah deliver hard hitting flows over a banging hip hop beat, expressing her self motivation. Fyahsis jumps on a funky dancehall/reggae style beat for ‘Roll Like Them’ with ragga flows on the hook, addressing those not moving correctly, labelling them as idiots, and distancing herself from them. This one features production from Tom Regisford and Herman. Mish Da Fyah delivers banging hip hop tracks like ‘Ride’ which sees her lay down a fantastically crafted chorus, rhyming about her ambition, stating that she will continue to ride, with Deadly and Yogi also featuring, as they too rhyme about over coming obstacles such as those bringing them down. ‘Failure’ is another song on which Mish Da Fyah spits about her self-motivation, rhyming about self belief, taking hold of your future and making use of your blessings. ‘Go Getta’ does what it says on the tin, Fyahsis spits about her drive to go and get what she wants, from getting in money and spending it on her favourite things, determined to make her dreams work. ‘Gone’ features LynZ, and addresses domestic abuse from the point of view of the lady in the relationship, as both Mish Da Fyah and LynZ unravel a story of realisation, finally upping and leaving the abusive boyfriend. The final track is called ‘Only God’, and features Beres Brown, and features lyrics from Fyahsis that depict her belief in God and that no one can judge her actions in life but Him.
On the whole, this EP features positive Hip Hop music from Mish Da Fyah, and incorporates not only Hip Hop but Reggae/Dancehall elements and R&B, with Mish Da Fyah also displaying not only her superb rhyming skills but singing skills too.
