Hailing from South London, YehBwoy Entertainment Rapper GT Solo, teams with SBTV to present visuals for ‘World of Mine’ taken from his latest project, the ‘Day Dreaming 2’ EP. GT Solo, meaning great talent, delivers a slice of real rap as he rhymes in a London twang, giving you the brutal honesty as he reveals his perspective his world and on subjects that affect us all in everyday life. Via some clever metaphorical lyricism, GT Solo explores how we all go about progressing in life, through various avenues whether it’s working a 9 to 5, or trying to make that fast money, there is always drama in a system that is designed to keep us all down. GT Solo flows seamlessly and smoothly on a soulfully samples Hip Hop beat, speaking his own thoughts that we can all relate to. The visuals depict the different characters from all walks of life that GT Solo talks about in the song.
‘World of Mine’ is taken from the Day Dreaming 2′ EP which was released back in 2014, and which features 8 tracks that see GT Solo reflect on his world and his own life, from his home town to the broader world we live in, reminiscing on his school days and the days he enjoys off after a hard days work. The EP features a few bangers including ‘Heatwave’ and ‘Money Mind’ as well as some slick Hip Hop jams like ‘Near U’, ‘World of Mine’ and ‘Higher’ that showcase GT Solo’s ability to produce polished sounds that could break the mainstream and also hard-edged rap bangers, mixing conscious lyricism and flows and bars full of confidence.
