Bankai Fam co-founder Skanks the Rap Martyr returns to present the debut single from new artist Valentine, called ‘The Arrival’. Produced by French Producer Venom and released on Brooklyn’s Anarchy Records, Valentine, influenced by artists ranging from Lord Finesse to Kool G Rap, makes a strong statement with this track, lyrically introducing himself from rhyming about his street knowledge and connects to the street, to stating his likes and preferences such as jewellery and women, and also slips in a few bars to shame inferior lyricists as to school them on real Hip Hop. Valentine chops it up on the orchestral Hip Hop beat concocted by Venom, delivery reminiscent of Big Pun as spits with conviction and grittiness.
