G-Stats comes straight from the 90’s era of Hip Hop, and has risen from the independent underground Hip Hop Scene to work with some of biggest names on the East Coast including Large Professor, Smif N Wessun, Sadat X, Tragedy Khadafi and Black Moon. Formerly signed to Power Records in the mid 90’S the late Crown Heights, Brooklyn rapper Half-A-Mill, and a part of another Crown Heights collective Bankai Fam, the MC is due to release a debut EP with collective One Click Bang. G-Stats pays homage to Das EFX with this remix of their classic ‘They Want EFX’, teaming up with Skanks, Low Banga and Shatike for this Bankai Fam Gmix. The four MC’s take to the dark, string-laden old school Hip Hop instrumental to kick rhymes with precision flows and gritty bars, dropping metaphors and similes that conveys their street mentality as capability to break rival MC’s with wordplay.
