“He is the artist who commands respect, he has his finger on the pulse but plays to his own beat, surrounded by a host of successful artists. That would be South London Hip Hop artist Rax, and he has just released his much awaited EP “Just 4 You”. This is a five-track project, with features from Zino Brown, Dee Pee of Section Boyz and Bonkaz on ‘Money Bee’, a Trap banger and one of two singles already released from the EP. ‘Money Bee’ The more hard-edged of all, and the title is a metaphor for the artists’ inclination to flaunt their wealth and all of it’s perks. R&B Singer Josh Osho joins Rax on jazz-influenced, smooth production that changes the pace and vibe of the EP. ‘Four Seasons’ features lyrics from Rax as he expresses his love of the summer months. Josh Osho inject soul in to this and the whole project. ‘She Don’t Watch That’ is a collaborative track between Rax and MC Rival, both taking to an ambient, wavy Rap instrumental. The topic is women, more specifically that one special lady that hasn’t just got money on the mind, with a mutual feeling from both lovers to do for each other with no hesitation. ‘Think Big (Little Brother’ is a motivational and inspirational track that depicts Rax’ ambition and dreams to chase dreams and money, and there is also emphasize on time being of the essence. ‘We Alright’ is the bonus track on the EP, and is another banger of a production with Trap elements, with Rax delivering rhymes that look to the future and reveal his hopes and plans, all positive. Rax displays superb flow on this one as he alternates and switches up to spit rapidly.
