The official release of Finnish Hip Hop artist View’s latest single ‘Coldest Season’ brings with it minimalistic yet artist, dark and moody visuals which is a collaboration between View’s Producer Joonas Laaksoharju and Matti Vesanen. The purpose of the video was to take the mood of the song, dealing with View’s search for an identity and the pressure from depression and personal issues, and translate it and apply the same kind of feel to the video. As well as the main portion of performance scenes from View, the video features some symbolic imagery such as a metallic hand and a face that is poring out some sort of gold liquid, maybe representing the idea of View looking for an identity.
