Alesha Dixon is back and standing on her own and independently, and with the release of her new album being released on her label Precious Stone Records. The new single and music video from the forthcoming album is entitled ‘Stop’ and features UK Rapper Wretch 32, as Alesha takes it back to her roots, showing glimpses of her Mis-Teeq days with quick-flowing emceeing for this hard-hitting R&B jam. Held up by many as one of the original queens of UK R&B, and having kick-started her music career as one third of UK Garage group Mis-Teeq, Alesha Dixon revisits the quick-flowing, emceeing style that made her stand out in the early noughties, whilst she gives the track a smooth R&B twist with the sleek chorus. Both Alesha and Wretch drop lyrics on a punchy beat brimming with horns and clicky percussion, the tune locking into the energetic, party vibes and the non-stop dancing that will no doubt come with the summer months. Alesha’s new single is definitely a banger and will surely be one of the main anthems for the summer.
