Fashion brand Marbek have embarked on a quest to tell of ‘Untold Journeys’ with their new collaborative “Untold” EP, further intertwining the worlds of music and fashion. Marbek pride themselves on their fashion and street culture, an integral part of their ethos, and this new project brings together those two elements perfectly.

Design

Their edgy design flare captures perfectly the bold and unapologetic street culture while remaining provocative and independent. Their execution on design, appeals to the brave and spirited whilst maintaining a sense of calm and class at its core.

“The perfect soundtrack for a combined statement of a generation’s rebellion”, Marbek collaborate with some of “the most bold and edgy grime musicians”, from one of the most popular and ever-growing genres in the UK and even internationally, Grime. Both Grime music and fashion appeal to the younger generation “that use music and fashion to express themselves and make statements”.

The EP

The EP itself features the likes of Boy Better Know’s Frisco, Rapid, Ghetts, Fekky, YGG and The Heavytrackerz. Frisco’s ‘Garn Again’, produced by Rude Kid, was the first taster from the project, with a video which showcased Marbek’s latest capsule,capturing the raw edge of fashion, with Frisco delivering an energetic, bass-driven and futuristic Grime banger packed with fast-flowing bars and a catchy chorus. Fekky’s ‘Macarena’ is a tune! With gritty trap vibes, Fekky boasts of his riches and the perks of the lifestyle he leads, delivering a bag of punchlines as well. Rapid and Ghetts’ fast-paced ‘Holla’ features an old school vibe, both spitting rapid (pardon the pun!) bars on a bassline production, fusing Grime and Garage. The Heavytrackerz are joined by Lady Leshurr, Maxsta, Jammin and Big Shizz on ‘Lyrics 4 Lyrics’, whilst Grime crew YGG have fun with the bars on the humorous ‘Lyca’, a ringtone Grime riddim that mixes both old school and new wave vibes. Rounding off the EP is AJ Tracey’s new crew MTP with ‘Round Ere’.
