Southampton rap trio DG (DG Music Group) return with a new music video, via GRM Daily, for a track off of their forthcoming sophomore mixtape due for release next year. The song is entitled ‘Gang Them’, and features the trio, Yansta, Charlie Snow and Prince, dropping rhymes delivered with finesse, on a Jojo F beat that samples “Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down)”. The lyrics convey their taste for the lavish lifestyle which pulls them towards women with class and international holidays. Even though they may fly internationally, these guys seem to have not forgotten their roots, their lyricism and even style has an edge to it. The trio display their excellent wordplay skills as they spit some clever metaphors too, and the chorus is superbly written and memorable. The video for ‘Gang Them’ was shot and directed by Chas Appeti and is a cinematic visual filmed in a desolate, abandoned looking location in the middle of a field wreck.
