Nottingham Hip Hop emcee and Certified Blood & Family artist Fonzse is back with his new tape “Allocations Chapter I”, produced entirely by Adim of Timeline Provision. Fonzse serves up pure Hip Hop sounds and conscious lyrics on the tape, which opens with ‘Learning’, a song all about life lessons, learning from your mistakes and picking up knowledge from the teachers. The next song ‘Lost’ introduces a more a soulful vibe, with a deep, rumbling Hip Hop instrumental with an old school sound. Fonzse spits with ease about the loss of love in his life, from those around him, Fonzse is all about love, unity and togetherness. Fonzse teams up with fellow CBF rapper Omie Omz on ‘Reunion’, as both rhyme about the brotherly love they have for their boys, the CBF family. Again, Fonzse details his experiences and thoughts on people that don’t show no love back. ‘Road Side Blues’ is Jazz/Blues influenced track, featuring Fonzse rhyming over sax melody and thumping Hip Hop beat, painting a picture with his words of the pain and sorrow he experiences on the road side. ‘Legacy’ is one of the songs off of the tape which had a video shot for it, and fuses both Hip Hop and R&B vibes. Fonzse’s rhymes express his desire to build a legacy. Driven by hunger and determination, with his focus on music and talent in abundance, Fonzse is sure to leave a legacy with the Certified Blood & Family, but even more, next year is sure to bring bigger things for him.
