Concept is a 19-Year Old Producer and Rapper hailing from North West London, and he has teamed up with South East London Rapper and Songwriter DoctaDee, and together they are known as Concept x DoctaDee. The duo have just released a new single, called ‘I.B.T.O’, taken from their forthcoming collaborative EP MNYUP Vol 1: Too Raw For Them, which is set to be released on February 6th. Concept’s murky, atmospheric bass-heavy trap beat is the foundation for the two emcee’s to deliver clever wordplay and relatable storytelling in their lyrics, displaying gripping flows too on the sauntering drill-esque beat. An infectious song overall, the hook is catchy and memorable, delivered in such a sing song style that is endorsed in today’s rap music.

Concept and DoctaDee have already been championed by BBC Introducing, GRM Daily, Link Up TV and Flavour Magazine as solo artists. However they joined forces at University in 2016 to form this new and exciting collaborative group, spending the better part of last year recording the first volume of their joint EP series MNYUP.
