Crafted by himself, Mayday hails from Birmingham. Starting to write lyrics in the first half of 2016, his style has taken shape as an artist who brings energy with a playful flair that is personified through his music. With influences from Garage to Dancehall to Grime, the compilation of these genres make Mayday an MC that is fuelled by a passion to enjoy the music he creates.

The latter half of 2016 saw the release of Mayday’s debut project ‘Enigmatic Zodiac’. The project, after the first month of 2017, has amassed 20K listens on Spotify and it was also distributed for free download onto his Soundcloud.

Following up was a music video for the first 2017 single entitled ‘Tracy Beaker’. Currently, Mayday has been experimenting with his sound and his releases in 2017 will showcase that.
