Brooklyn’s Bankai Fam are back with brand new video for ‘Seen A Few Things’, taken from their current mixtape “Civil War” hosted by the legendary DJ Ready Cee. The new cut features P General, Low Banga, Skanks, Big Business and G Stats. These highly skilled lyrical assassins with rough vocal deliveries, spit moving lyrics on a slapping boom bap beat with an emotive, soulful undertone, reciting the saddening situations that they have all witnessed in life. Violence, crime, homelessness, poverty, gang culture and the general shady ways of some people today are just some of the things that these musicians have seen. Produced by Frecnh producer Kyo Itachi, Bankai Fam’s style is not dissimilar to that of NYC super groups like Wu Tang Clan and Boot Camp Clik. 2017 will see a slew of releases from the group and solo members. Bankai Fam released their debut EP “On my side” in 2013 to critical acclaim & have since dropped solo projects from Skanks & G Stats via the French Label Shinigamie records.
