Following the release of another Instrumental EP this month, eclectic, versatile Producer BazSheff is back with another Instrumental EP, Faded – Trap Instrumental EP, proudly presented by ourselves, Death Kiss Media alongside NorthernMedia.
Featuring eight beats, including two bonus, the project showcases BazSheff’s eclectic taste in music, but most importantly, his talent as a Producer.
‘Trap Rock’ excellently fuses elements of Trap, hi-hats, bass and kicking drums with a rock-influenced guitar riff that is constant through out. As with this beat and also ‘Piano Pain’ and ‘Dark Night’, these three beats display BazSheff’s liking for melodies using piano keys. The last two mentioned are more mellowing and possess darker vibes to some of the other beats on the EP.
‘Chinese Whispers’ s a skippy trap production rich in synths and rolling hi-hats and relentless snares. BazSheff has an oriental vibe going on here. ‘Faded’, the title track on the EP, follows in the same vain as Chinese Whispers, with a skippy beat pattern, with light piano keys and soft drum beat. A mellowing beat to say the least, would be the kind of vibe perfect for getting intoxicated. ‘Killer’ has a strange, suspenseful, yet rhythmic sound to it, owing to the plodding beat and catchy piano keys and synthesized strings. Two bonus tracks, ‘UK Trap Music’ and ‘Gang Signs’ close out the EP. These are perhaps the most menacing on the EP. If I had to pick out my favourite on the whole project, it would have to be ‘Trap Rock’. What is your’s?
