The Birmingham MC delivers a truly deep and emotional story that goes back to 2005, talking about the way he was living, at home with his mother, watching those around having run-ins with the law whilst he stayed away from that life, promising his mum that, even when the odds were stacked against him. Fast forward to the present, and Mayday is making break-throughs in the music scene, becoming one of the UK’s most talented, up and coming Grime MC’s. Mayday has turned negatives in to positives, and staying on the road to achieve his goals and dreams. From the story to the bass-thundering, eerily ambient, synth-laden production from Audio Slugs, this is an intense track from Mayday.
