London MC INC takes on Leeds Rapper and seasoned Battler Dialect in an excellent Grime clash, brought to you by Words Are Weapons. INC and Dialect both had intelligent, strong bars for the clash and also contrasting styles. While INC had a more humorous, hype and punchline fuelled approach, Dialect went straight for the jugular with intense, darker, more brutal lyricism. Maybe the crowd was biased with the event being held in Dialect’s home town, he did seem to have the better of INC overall, getting more crowd reactions throughout (even getting a reload on one rhyme!), but credit where it’s due, INC fully repped, steppin up and making it a closer run thing than some would have anticipated. I actually thought INC had the better of round 2, with the Noel Edmunds/Deal Or No Deal angles, just didnt seem to get crowd reactions he deserved. Maybe in a more neutral venue, INC could have had this one. Mad respect to both MC’s. One of the best clashes I’ve seen in a while.
