Grime artist One Fourz had teamed up with fellow MC’s Blaze and Menace of Brotherhood for a new track and visual with SBTV called “Life Of A Hoodlum”. The track holds a message and features all three addressing a situation that actually exists in the society and UK Hip Hop scene especially today, the fake imagery and fairytale lifestyle that they think that they are living. One Fourz addresses postcode wars where one man can be beefing with his neighbor only a few doors away, rappers that promote drugs and guns, and at an extent encourages youths to carry a weapon and One Fourz tells you in the chorus that someone will lose their life unless they drop the hype. Brotherhood also go in lyrically with some deep rhyming about the effects of a life of violence ending in prison or death, both share a verse and spit quick rapid fire but still the message sinks in and touches a nerve. Check out the video which depicts the stark reality, two friends hanging out and being ran up on and murdered and a drug exchange gone wrong. This is a deep, meaningful track that unveils the truth and hopefully sends a message to the youth in particular, check it out and let us know your thoughts . . .
