UK Hip Hop artist Natz has released the first single from his forthcoming project “The Last Poet”. An intriguing release, as well as the direction that Natz is going with this CD, “The Microphone” is one of many spoken word pieces you can expect from it. Based around the meaning of the microphone, he sets on a journey through the history of the use of it, being used for good to lift and inspire people through words of wisdom, or for tyranny. For him as an artist, he mentions the likes of Tupac, Bob Marley, Michael Jackson and Elvis needing the mic when they are need. He tells of how the microphone is a device to let you be heard, and how your words can then be much more. Natz’ perspective is very quite impressive, his train of thought holding so much meaning. Without no beat, he kept my attention through out with such poetry. Natz has taken this weapon that is a microphone and used it to his advantage and has made one person take notice and listen.
