Rising Hip Hop artist Just Josh teams up with Aukes Media once again for a video for his new tune called “Down For That”. Just Josh spits lyrics over a mesmerising, mellow but hard-hitting beat produced by 5th Element. Speaking for the many as he mentions, Just Josh represents for those less fortunate, rhyming about being broke or at least trying to bring in the currency, feeling like your back against the wall, with doubters, whilst his dreams are focused on bigger and better things in life, namely music. He compares two different lives, from the lucky to the unfortunate, whilst it is unfair, the blatant differences in the breaks that you are given in life, Josh gets on with things, quietly grinding, making his own chances. In the third verse, Just Josh spits about the community we live in, surrounded by people hungry for success, or to get out of poverty or whatever situation they are in, some turning to violence, Just Josh, rather than be one of those few, he is satisfied with his family and friends. In the hook, Just Josh states his intent that he is down any positivity whether it concerns music, studio and good times, but not no negativity bringing him down. Just Josh flows superbly on the instrumental, lyrically showcasing his intelligence and consciousness about reality. Just Josh gives you pain in form of rap, whilst the video depicts Josh out in the rain, metaphorical for what he is spitting about. Have a listen and tell us your thoughts . . .
