The Grime Show: Stay Fresh

Stay Fresh

Last week Sir Spyro was live in the studio with Mayhem NODB, Deadly and Safone who make up the Stay Fresh collective. One of the leading crew’s and certainly one of the most talented and entertaining collectives up north, you can expect lots of rewind and rave bars, one lines flows, and hard spraying as they demolished a wide range of beats from Grime to Trap-style Bass instrumentals. Deadly bought the rough and rugged delivery, whilst the other two were a bit more hyper, but all merged well, trading bars, going in on other emcee’s with war bars, and showcasing superb wordplay here and there. Spyro also took the chance to talk to the guys about how they go about their projects as a collective and solo, producers and artists that the y collaborate with, attending the Eskimo Dance and enquiring about other events that are popping in Birmingham. With their image and character all sorted out, even grabbing their own recognisable slogans, these guys are talented enough to be signed to a major label any time soon, and with a lot of projects in the pipeline, the future looks bright for these three and Stay Fresh. Check out the heavyweight set below and let us know your thoughts and opinions . . .
