So Solid affiliate and Mr Starz Up himself Castro releases a brand new video for the 3rd track off of the STARZ UP VOL 1 mixtape. Can’t Cope features fellow mc Naughtz and sees the rappers rip up the old skool bassy hip hop track, pulsating with the classic 808 cowbell, hats and snares with a dark undertone to it. Castro and Naughtz go ham with the bars stating their greatness, dismissing competition in their field. Can’t Cope is about all the bs certain people are talking, albeit empty threats, claiming to be the better outfit and effectively giving it all the hype talk, the Starz Up boyz firmly address the situation and let everybody know who’s boss with this skippy, amped up track. Both rappers flow over the beats effortlessly, Castro adopting his trademark triplet style laid back delivery and Naughtz meandering over the riddim with an unpredictable fluidity. The video is very classy, shot in an around a stately home, with the pair cotchin in rolls royce! Smooth and effective visuals, metaphorically letting us know they’re chilled, focused and ready to take over, it’s all under control ;). Pure vibes! Big tune, with an international flava to it from one of the countries most innovative and creatively potent artists, Castro going in once again, alongside another tip top UK rapper.
