GRM Daily present the final LeSoCo College Cypher featuring the Top 4 auditionee’s from their recent open audition footage filmed at Lewisham and Southwark College. The talented young students got their chance to shine and took the opportunity with an icy cold grip. Rappers Tryple, Ross, Mula and Mr Myki go ham over an amped up Hip Hop banger, with a heavy bass/guitar riff and pounding snares and toms. Tryple kicks off proceedings with his laid back, yet precise delivery, dropping bars depicting his character and life style, meandering over the beat with apparent ease. Ross drops next with gully bars, using a hard edged, rigid flow, spitting about the road life and his daily hustle, Mula comes in with larger than life characteristics and intricate wordplay, adopting a sporadic, smooth flow, dropping bars about his life, his surroundings and stating his greatness on the mic. Last and by no means least is hyper MC Mr Myki comes in with an explosive style, adopting a rapid flow and colourfully ballistic delivery, sounding like an old skool MC, controlling a crowd like Biggie or KRS one in their primes. Mula kicks a bonus bar at the end, adopting Ross’s help to set up his word association scheme bars. Very impressive stuff from some future UK urban music stars.
