D-Bo teamed up with SBTV to bring you his first release of 2014 and a return to the Grime genre to boot! Produced by Heavy Trackerz, Compost Interlude intrumental has been doing the rounds for a while now since Big Narstie 1^st vocalled it about a year ago, followed in hot pursuit by the likes of Realz, Blittz Gullyish and Heavy Trackerz’s very own producer/artist Teddy. D-Bo goes in over the trap style grimy, percussion, snare heavy, synth warped instru, delivering bars at rapid speed, with a sporadic, meandering flow. D-Bo drops bars about his life, the world around him, depicting his greatness, exerting his skill by flexing lyrical muscle, spitting punchline after punchline with brutal consistency. The West London MC uses outlandish metaphors and similes to brush the scene aside with precise rhyming skills and intricate wordplay. The video for Compost Interlude is a trippy, visually stunning abstract shot compilation, cut and spliced with the same rapid speed as D-bo’s flow, with some cool transitions and clever kinetic typography used. D-bo shows what the industry is missing with his exuberant character and immaculate recording style. A great return to the game, looking forward to more new music from this talented young artist.
