Dubstep heavyweight DJ’s, Producers, Gentlemen and orange root vegetable enthusiasts Soloman & 50 Carrot team up to bring you their latest smash a Dubstep & Grime fusion. The track entitled Clank sees Solomon and 50 go in on the beats and bass, keeping the arrangement simple but never the less rivetingly hype. Clank kicks off with a detuned synth/melody switching up at the break to bring in the pounding beats with a prominent bassline underneath. Using intricate percussion throughout, layering the hats and snares to skippy rhythmic effect, flitting between poly rhythms, Solomon and Mr Carrot show their versatility, musical artistry knack of creating bangers in any genre. Clank is a mad instrumental that I could see the likes of Skepta or Sox tearing up with bars, but as a stand alone track would go down exceedingly well in a rave also.
