Context | Warm Up Sessions [S8.EP7]: SBTV

Context

UK rapper Context returns to SBTV with a snokin hot new Warm Up Session after first appearing back in 2011! The Norwich and London based artist goes ham with the bars over a dark Trap instrumental. What is refreshing is how Context goes hard with the real bars, no fake trap nonsense, for example the line “I tell my mates that my living is alright, but I still roll nandos order tap water, drinks machine, filling it up with sprite”. Whilst Context doesn’t force a faux image, keeping it lightly comedic with his lyrics, he also throws some darker lines in there too, adopting a killer flow, just behind the beat with a bit of a swing to it, switching up the speeds at times. Context spits in a similar way to Devlin but has the rhyming style reminiscent of the likes of Eminem the way he links words together in a moody poetical way. Big bars! Mad freestyle.
