Newham Generals Grime MC D Double E is back with a brand new banger entitled ‘Lovely Jubbly’, a Trap-come-Grime production by Nat Powers, whom has many big production credits to his name including Three 6 Mafia, Spice One and Run DMC, with visuals by Noisey. D Double E goes all cockney on us for this track, spitting bars that are also reflected in the cinematic visuals, coming suited and booted as a mobster, dressed in a tweed coat, and driving a Morris. The hook features D Double E dropping some cockney rhyming slang, whilst the track as a whole depicts him as a money maker, a gangster mob figure, and as a money collector, getting what is owed to him, in order to live a lavish life, dressing in designer suits, having a flock of women, and handling his business properly. The visuals feature a number of actors and actresses, D Double E is seen rolling around the estate with a baseball bat, using threatening tactics as means to get his money from various people that have probably loaned from him. D Double E’s original style is still present with the skippy flow and delivery, and it is good to see some creativity visual wise.
