UK MC Proton collaborated with fellow UK artist, singer Felicity recently on a track called ‘Make U Mine’, which is a slow grinding, Trap/RnB groove. The track showcases both their great song craft and writing skills, the track’s subject is on love, Felicity taking on the role of someone hell-bent on making one man hers, going on psychotic in one instance, making this man choose between her and another girl, not settling for being a side chick. Felicity showcases fantastic singing ability, with effortless harmonising, holding notes superbly in laid back style. Proton lays down laid back flows, spitting about taking this girl around the world, partying together, showing her a nice life which comes with being a relationship with someone of his status. The track has a nice vibe, on the intro and outro, the production takes on a jazz/blues vibe, an overall is a soulful mix of RnB and Trap.
