As far as the future of Grime is concerned, look no further than partners in Grime, Cadell and Grimey MicPol, of Truss Entertainment, who along with several other youngers in the scene, are managing to capture the essence and energy of Grime from yesteryear. This video with JDZmedia is a double vid, for tracks ‘Levels’ and ‘Banger’. The former is a futuristic, tingling, bass pounding Grime beat, featuring both Grimey and Cadell setting the levels lyrically for competition, showcasing their top-notch barring skillz, emphasising that they have radio worthy, whilst those inferior rivals have no bars to match. The second track ‘Banger’, features a catchy hook, and is the real banger, one with Grimey laying down infectious, rapid flowing bars, going in once again lyrically, and sending pars aimed at rival mc’s. One occurring thing in both tracks, is that Grimey’s lyrical content also depicts his money making schemes, as he also rhymes about the road life that he leads or may have led, stating that the streets is where he made his serious money. Cadell drops a quick verse towards the end of the tune, also spraying bars which depict his late night road hustle. Both Grimey and Cadell keep up the energy through out both tracks, the latter production being by Priceless, but both beats complement their rhyme style and rapid flows.
