Taken from UK Grime artist Mossie’s newest mixtape ‘The Evolution’, he teams up with fellow Nottingham MC JR, Rhymes Galore MC Rame and Luda, for a new track called ‘QoQ Freestyle’, as they go in with deep lyrical content over the mellow Trap influenced instrumental made popular by Benny Banks. Each MC draws from their own personal experiences in life to convey their hardships in life, the pain and struggles, and rather than let their troubled past bring them down or keep them in a slump, they use their ambition and determination to get up and make positive moves, coping with the pain by getting high and forgetting the stress in Mossie’s case, all four having music as one of their main loves, chasing the money, and not associating with haters or fakes. The emotional lyrical content also provides light at the end of the tunnel for people in similar situations, each proving in their bars that you can turn negatives in to positives.
