BASHY drops a nostalgic smasher of a tune just in time for our late summer. These Are The Songs is a tribute to yesteryear and the urban songs many current UK rap artists grew up listening too. In the similar vein to Smasher’s “Back In The Day”, #TheseAreTheSongs samples some of the UK’s classic jams intwining them with a mix of grime and beats n breaks, with a prominent bassline from a classic Danny Weed track “Creeper”. Bashy drops his usual swagger on the joint, reminiscing about his youth and memories associated with the music featured. Singer Jareth adds the icing on this epic cake, with powerful soulful vocals bringing the song together on the chorus. Great stuff. Big beats (see if you can name them!). Big bars! Big Tune!
