South London Rapper Ben Ridley returns with a new music video, directed by Spacey Blak, for a new track called ‘Coconut Oil’ produced by Cyrus. The lyricism on this love song feature Ben rhyming about a woman that needs her confidence boosted as she has trouble viewing her self as he does. Rather than wanting one particular thing from this woman, Ben admires her natural beauty, and displays his respect with lines like ‘I got respect for you . . . I’d love to pleasure you . . .’ and lines likes ‘It’s more than sex with you I . . . Feel I connect with you’. Ben lays down gruffly delivered, slow and sauntering vocals on the trap beat. The artistic visuals feature ANUVAHOOD actress Portia Freno as the love interest, the video interspersing juxtaposed imagery and background colours with silhouettes, burning roses and falling feathers.
