One of the most consistent Drill artists right now, South East London’s Kwengface, of Peckham’s Zone 2, links up with Big Sick (fka Sickman), for a new Drill banger entitled ‘Rock With It’. Produced by Al Mac Beats, ‘Rock With It’ is a high-energy Drill song with Dancehall undertones, and both artists deliver astounding verses, spitting rapidly over the infectious beat, with Big Sick’s catchy hook as the jewel in the crown. The chorus epitomizes the rise of two of the most promising artists in the scene right now, a somewhat motivational one from the two, perhaps inspiring others to graft without kicking back or being on some random madness, but sticking to your mission and leveling up in your line of work. Big Sick and Kwengface hold their own on the track, even bringing out the best in each other, harnessing the spirit of the production to deliver lively, assertive verses. Jay Parpworth filmed and directed the visuals, which see both artists rocking out with a band in the background, dressed like rock stars themselves, most notably Big Sick in his leather jacket, in what are grimy, high-octane visuals with insane visual effects.

Big Sick has been busy so far this year, having released ‘Ya Nuh’ via GRM Daily, followed by the remix featuring Stylo G, Cashh and Ambush, both of which done up numbers on YouTube. His most recent album ‘Play Time’ featured both lead singles ‘Everyday’ featuring Backroad Gee, and the original version of ‘Ya Nuh’. However, Big Sick, formerly Sickman, is no stranger to the scene, having collaborated with Ice Kid and Stylo G over ten years ago on ‘My Yout’, as well as notable UK Rap artists Shower Malik, Blitz, M Dargg and many more.

Meanwhile, Kwengface aka Narsty rose to prominence as part of Peckham-based rap group Zone 2, notable for their rivalry with another UK Drill group Moscow17. Zone 2 have released several mixtapes, ‘No Hook’, ‘Known Zoo’, ‘Hillside Zoo’, ‘Demented’ and last years ‘Known Zoo 2’. As a solo artist, Kwengface has been incredibly consistent, having just released his debut mixtape, ‘YPB: Tha Come Up’, which succeeded 5 tracks released in 6 months in the build up. He also dropped a Plugged In With Fumez, which currently sits on over 8 million views, and just last week, a Daily Duppy via GRM Daily, which is already over 1 million views.
