Kirstie Louise aka MizZee is a singer/songwriter and Grime emcee that hails from Preston, Lancashire. MizZee has already taken to releasing covers of various R&B tunes, including Blackstreet and Dr. Dre’s No Diggity and Chris Brown’s Superhuman, which are both A cappellas that further accentuate MizZee’s fantastic and soulful singing voice. She manages to connect with the lyrics of her covers that explore love themes, seemingly and maybe due to her own life experiences. MizZee also collaborated with Grime Producer Kronzy as of 2017, on a new grime instrumental entitled ‘Digity’, providing background vocals for the beat. Whilst she emcee’s she is focused more on singing right now, and one listen to her singing vocals it is no surprise that she might opt to pursue more of an R&B sound at present.
MizZee is due to perform at the Grime Wars 2, brought to you by Grime Wars and Stand Tall Ent, in Leeds on 28th January. She will performing in the same bill as Dialect, Mic Man Sparxxx, Zero and K-Riz to name a few. She will also be clashing against Magic Mic too.
MizZee is an astounding and multi-talented musical talent and there is no doubt she is bound for greater things this year, as she is definitely one to watch. MizZee is bound to blow!
