Brokenpen takes to heavy-hitting, trap-influenced Hip Hop beat, dropping some profound lyrics and wise words, as he rhymes about a life that he’s tried to guide in to the light, yet spitting about a music scene that is far from friendly, bringing out the rawness and devil in him. Brokenpen uses his words as weapons and killing you with lyrics and flows. Brokenpen employs a range of oxymorons in his bars as he rhymes about the dark and the light, and the devil and the angel inside of him, for instance. Brokenpen showcases a high level of lyrical prowess and at times ups the flow, pace and energy of the track.
