US Rapper and Brainsick artist Charlie Ray recently took to soundcloud to release a brand new song called ‘Smoke Pt 1’. Produced by himself under the alias C. Ray, Charlie concocts a thumping, west coast style beat similar to the likes of Dr Dre, as he drops quite potent, political bars, as the rhymes delve in to the Michael Brown case, the riots and looting going on in the USA at the moment, praising the peaceful protesters and labeling many as ignorant, and just inciting more violence and reason for the law to wade in an use brutality. Charlie Ray also attacks those artists that incite these actions in their songs, pleading with them to think about the future implications of being captured on footage, and warning them against targeting privately owned, family businesses. Charlie Ray makes some undeniable, valid points in intellectual rhymes whilst he also flows effortlessly, with a pounding delivery.
