Spooky Bizzle released a radio rip recently of his own take on “Cherry Oh Baby” by Eric Donaldson. Simply entitled “Cherry”, the rip from Deja Vu Fm features South London Grime artist Syder Sides spitting raga style lyrics over the thick Reggae-influenced bass-heavy Grime production, laying down infectious bars, highlighting his knowledge of the roots of music from the West Indies, whilst noting how vintage such tunes are, having heard them before YouTube. Syder raises the hype for sure once he gets in the swing of it. Short clip, but enough to get me gassed, take a listen and let us know what you think below in the comments section . . .
