UK singer/songwriter/producer Donae’O took to his official soundcloud to release his latest monster of a tune entitled “Living My Life”. The track sees Donae’O go ham with the production, creating an almost old skool dance slash jungle style mash up. In Prodigy style, the talented artist, uses a menacing bass line, classic dance percussion and epic synths to capture that hardcore rave sound. In complete contrast to the instrumental Donae’O lays down his trademark laid back soulful swagger, delivering the vocals in a relaxed fashion as opposed to the rapid ferocity of the production. Using the track as an almost rebellion, Donae’O sings about living life how he wants to, staying the same but taking the risks, being a soldier and not giving an eff what anybody thinks. Real lyrical defiance from a skilled musician who has most certainly carved and fought his way to success and now most definitely deserves the accolades as well as the creative freedom he has developed for himself.
