Minarmy’s Dot Rotten took to soundcloud to give us a taste of his forthcoming EP ‘Minsane’ due to release soon. Dot releases 8 tracks off the EP, featuring production by the likes of The Heavytrackerz, the EP is a 140 bpm vibe with Grime/Trap. Dot Rotten continues his ferocious style of late, going ham on the likes of ‘Inna’, which he expresses his trust issues with certain women, whilst emphasizing that isn’t the lovey dovey type. He goes for the jugular as he peppers a reverberating Grime beat on ‘Scoffing Your Face’, as he attacks fake tough guys in his bars, proving who really runs tings. Likewise, on ‘Over Here’, which Dot delivers rapid flows, and one line flows on the hook, as he once again exposes fakes, and I may be mistaken but it may seem like he is dissing P Money. Dot Rotten switches up the vibes with ‘Da Vybe’ on a mad lively Grime instrumental, as the lyrics depict a messy night on at a rave, chilling with the ladies, downing premium liquor, and moving to a other guy’s women and taking them home as he fancies. Dot kicks superb flows over the beat, whilst the hook is terrific, and quite catchy, you may just find yourself skanking to this one! ‘Under My Wing’ features heart-felt lyrics from Dot which portrays his deeper side, as he expresses his love for a special lady clasping eyes on her and falling for her, and he reveals that he’d like to give her everything she wants. This is one of the more introspective tracks on the EP, with most of the other tracks seeming to be making a point and sending fear to other mc’s.
