Rising South London Grime artist Duppy is back with a brand new self-produced single called ‘WOOSHU’. If you have been paying attention to Duppy’s antics in the Grime scene over the last year, especially on Grime sets on various radio platforms, then you will instantly recognize Duppy’s trademark catchphrase, a war cry of sorts. Duppy brings the war to his rivals on the heavyweight, militant Grime production, peppering it with fast-paced bars scattered with witty wordplay, lyrically attacking the fake tugs whilst keeping it one hundred himself. The visuals are filmed by Mobset’s Squintz, and see Duppy out and about locally, with his guys just chilling between energy-fueled live performance of the track.

Duppy has been honing his craft for the last year or so, doing the rounds on various radio platforms including Reprezent Radio (Razor), Hoots TV and Subtle Radio (DJ Jedah), Just Jam (Oblig), Mode FM (Inside The Ride), and most notably,alongside J.P and Mobset (Renz & Squintz) on the Sir Spyro Grime cypher. Duppy is definitely one to watch out for in 2022, the future of emerging Grime artists.
