‘Only’ is the very British new track release from Thetford-based UK musician Franko Fraize. Franko, who is likened to The Specials and The Clash with an “after taste of The Streets”, fuses Hip Hop and Electronic Music together for a very powerful, hard-hitting, gritty head banger that often seeps in to flashes of Drum & Bass. Franko Fraize greets you on the opening of the track, coinciding with melancholy keys that may lead you in to a false feelings and emotions, which soon change to fun, energy and much bounce. Franko Fraize delivers vocals over the bass guitar and rock bassline, that are similar in style to The Streets. With his British slang and lingo, Franko’s reality bars may ring true and you might connect to them, and quite philosophically rhymes about realising what you have before it’s gone, how dwelling on the past can hurt and keeping up the fight even when you are down. Franko Fraize has previously played at the world famous Jazz Café, Radio 1’s Big Weekend and Wembley as well as supporting Rudimental and Mike Skinner, and is also set to perform live at one of the UK’s leading festivals; Reading & Leeds.
