DJ Target recently unveiled True Tiger’s re mix of Meridian Dan’s “German Whip” as his Targo Embargo, playing it live on his BBC Radio 1Xtra show. The True Tiger camp, as much heavyweight producers as the original producers The Heavytrackerz, they remixed the beat, keeping a similar flow to the riddim, coming grimey, adding sfx to the instrumental, just stamping their mark on the huge banger from Dan, giving it their own twist. Rather than go in and produce some sloppy beat which wouldn’t fit, True Tiger have obviously carefully thought about it and here they produce a beat which compliments and fits with Dan, Big H and JME’s styles.
