London-based Singer and Songwriter Gloria Adereti has just unveiled not one but TWO new releases this past week, new single ‘Nobody’s Watching’, as well as a live rework of Henrik Schwarz and Omar’s ‘Feeling You’. Gloria rolls back the years with new single ‘Nobody’s Watching’, a House tune, produced by Cy Humphreys, with a 90’s inspired vibe, and Gloria showcases fabulous soulful vocal range. As Gloria explains: “‘Nobody’s Watching’ is a song about the end of a relationship. It’s the fight between two lovers who claim they want to be together, but in reality the love is toxic. It’s being on the frontline of a war between love and hate, pain and obsession.”
‘Feeling You’ is a live band mix of the classic track from Omar and Henrik Schwarz, with Gloria putting her soulful, uplifting vocals on the infectious, funky house beat, singing about the vibes that she is getting from her man, hoping for reciprocating feelings back. The instruments played in this live rework are chilled, with pianos, drums and percussion adding a light touch to what could be described as a fusion of House and Lounge music.
Gloria continues her ascent on the UK’s electronica music scene, working with the likes of Richy Ahmed on “The Voyage” and “Put Me In A Trance”, the latter of which was championed by BBC Radio 1. She has also featured on Diesler’s “Birds & Bees” and Producer Adam Curtain’s latest track “Looking”. Gloria has worked with a range of acclaimed producers, and is currently working in the studio putting the final touches to her debut EP, one that seems to be injecting some soul back in to house music, with Gloria’s artillery of electronic beats, deep basslines and soulful vocals.
