‘Not Fair’ is the brand new track from UK Hip Hop artist Jai-90, featuring fellow artist Bento, the track is a Reggae-influenced Hip Hop production by Matty Roots. Jai-90’s lyrics are positive and fun, whilst also being serious in that he rhymes about the things that are not fair in life, telling a story of his life’s events. Spreading a message to the youth that whilst life may be hard now, it is much worse as you get older, evident from such unfair situations such as having rules set, missing cartoons and doing homework, missing out on leisure, compared to working for pay through holidays, resting indoors and playing the console. The last verse deals with adolescence, trying to achieve your dreams, still working yet feeling older, wiser yet with nothing to show for it. Proving that life isn’t as bad as it seems, Jai90 rhymes superbly, flowing smoothly, with confidence in his delivery, whilst Bento delivers a fun sing song hook.
