Jay perfectly mixes urban rap with dance production, and smooth vocals using auto-tune to give a techno feel, plus he also concocts an infectious, simile-fueled hook. Jay Carteré is shaping up to be quite the UK dance vocalist, serving up catchy lyricism, showcasing his versatility as a songwriter, backed with the production skills to produce the more sought after mainstream sound, while keeping his integrity and producing what he loves.
