Manchester’s JB released a music video for ‘IM HERE PT.2’ recently, which was filmed in Manchester and BBC’s Salford Studios by Sami Mahmood. JB takes to a bass-booming Hip Hop beat with an underlying afrobeat influence, whYJay producing a beat that also includes steel pans and a slow-grinding beat pattern. The song depicts JB reluctance to stay by his love’s side physically yet emphasizing that he’s there. The lyrics explore JB’s beliefs that he can’t give them the love that they want, as JB ups and leaves to try to make a better life for the future. The song conveys the feelings and the life of many artists that are going through the same situations, torn between real life and music.
