Incredibly talented Welsh singer Aleighcia Scott hooked up with JDZ Media to give fans an acoustic cover of Lauryn Hill’s “Ex-Factor” and Etta James’ “I’d Rather Go Blind”. The soulful lady performs a gorgeous rendition of the mega Lauryn Hill hit, implementing her own style on the well known hit. Aleighcia displays seemingly effortless voice controll, hitting a range of pitch perfect gorgeous notes, impressing with her sweet sultry tones over the first song. Ms. Scott gives us double the delight with a beautiful cover of “I’d Rather Go Blind”, in a sort of RnB/Gospel/Jazz fusion. Love the light and shade Aleighcia displays, switching from powerful, Aretha like vocal blasts to sweet & soft smooth lighter transitions, reminiscent of artists like Alicia Keys. Aleighcia can sing the heck out of any song we reckon! Amazing acoustic performance. Props to the guitarist too, on point with the strings also. A perfect musical marriage.
