Islington compatriots and long time music collaborators/partners Joe Black and Benny Banks, two or North’s finest and UK Rap’s cream of the crop, are back with a brand new music video for trap banger ‘Murder These Rhymes’ via Link Up TV. The latest track to come off of their collaborative mixtape ”BnB”, the two heavyweights take to a pounding beat infused with heavy bass and a hypnotic melody, delivering fierce, fiery flows. The menacing snares and melodic, looping keys as well as the thunderous bass draw you in, courtesy of 1stborns Production, and the two strike with back-to-back verses and go bar-for-bar on the hook, sending warning shots to rappers with murderous rhymes.

Joe Black has previously been highlighted by Charlie Sloth for The Guardian as “a huge problem” and Benny Banks has received similar plaudits from the likes of Clash Magazine following their early mixtape releases inclusing ”Realionaire”, ”King of the Underground” and the ”Patiently Waiting” volumes, both becoming widely regarded as two of the scene’s leading figures. Early material saw them at the forefront of the rise of UK Rap as individually they helped to redefine the sound, charging through previous barriers and stereotypes to spit conscious rhymes. Talking about real-life situations that they were living through not only made them genuine, it also made them relatable to an entire generation.
