Grime MC Jon E Clayface recently took to his soundcloud to release a brand new track called “Ain’t No Stoppin Me”. The production is a bass-heavy Trap style instrumental by Shannon Parkes, with a constant flute type of instrument with an underlying melody which puts me in mind of Summer Breeze by The Isley Brothers. Jone E Clayfaces’ lyricism depicts the many troubles that have weighed him down in life, full of pain and rage as he states, searching for something better in life, and wondering if he’ll ever make it. As well as noting his downfalls and hardships, the track is as much uplifting, survival tune in which Jone E Clayface comes across as a fighter who will not let anything stop him until he reaches his goals.
