Build TV took to their media channel to release a brand new 100KG Freestyle session with Nottingham Hip Hop artist JR, who performed a one take of his track ‘My Main Story’, produced by Blazestyle Beats, and taken from his recent mixtape ‘Music’s A Treat’. JR lays down deep lyricism over the melancholy Hip Hop instrumental, telling his story, from growing up homeless, in the struggle with his family, always on the move, living in different areas, being separated from his siblings and his mother, the whole downward spiral down to abuse and drug use, but in the end JR reveals that he respects the decision to be adopted as it made him a better person and giving him a better start in life. JR showcases great story telling ad song craft even though it is much his life put in to bars, and he delivers his lyrics, connecting with the pain, and flowing smoothly over the beat.
