Midas MC recently took to soundcloud to release a follow up to his ‘Friends Like These’ with part 2. Midas rhymes over a pounding Hip Hop beat with a plonking piano-led melody and jangling percussion. Midas reiterates his hatred and that he has no time for haters that hate on him, cussing him behind his back. Midas also delves in to the jealousy, hate and back stabbing from fellow musicians in the music industry, as he spits about dj’s ego inflating, and revealing that they are then dropped when their artists make it to stardom. Midas has knack for song writing, especially displayed in the superbly constructed chorus, which is also very catchy, and Midas’ delivery is also precise, not allowing himself to sound bitter but rather quite mellow about the subject, and he switches up the flow effortlessly.
